Those racist Cherokees!

I have to admit, I was quite shocked.

In other news, my family and I went to the mall yesterday. I now have 4 new DVDs. I have a problem.

So, does that mean that the US government can stop giving funds to the Cherokee tribe? I mean, surely they could find some way to interpret the Civil Rights Act of 1964 or the commerce clause or something to apply to Native American nations?

Don't have a clue, but I'm sure they could. I guess we'll just have to wait for further developments. It would be terribly ironic, though, to deprive a minority organization of funding for discriminating against a minority.
