Crappity crap, ooh, wait: Hi, everyone!

I think I have to do an LJ list. But I'm not going to do an LJ cut. Sometimes I am rude like that.
  • I gather that Battlestar Galactica has its season finale tonight. I am still unspoiled for Season Three, because I do not have cable TV and am waiting to rent the CDs. I do not feel deprived. CD rental is perfectly reasonable. Seeing first-run ( Read more... )

It is so good to see you post! Bed and Bath is such temptation; I'm going to buy a new bed later this year and I've been drooling over the fancy sheets and such. However, my
old stuff is still good but I'm working hard to convince myself that I deserve more.
Lucky you to have fresh grapefruit, lemons and limes - I am very jealous.
Try to think about getting over here at the end of April; we are going to have a Spring Show and I have several new pieces plus a new studio to show off. I'm at the same address but in a larger space all my own!

Mmmm, sheets! One of the places I house-sit has pure cotton sheets in the guest house, high thread count, and no "treatment", so the more you wash 'em, the softer they get.

You could buy a top sheet or two, if they were on sale. They could go with fitted sheets you already have, and it gets you the small, treasured thrill of New Sheets, without the investment in a whole set.

I am wanting to do the Spring Show, And a space of your own! I have to see how things work out, but my intenionality is palpable. (Hee. I am trying to write like I've put myself through the Google translator.)

How about political feelings regarding juice? As the bourgeoisie does the proletariat, you just squeeze that grapefruit, squeeze it for all it's worth, until the seeds pop out and all you're left with is an empty, pulpy shell and your own sense of disappointed expectations. Are you happy now? Huh?

I'm glad to hear you got the tick-thing taken care of. They're right, it is a big deal, and you needed medical care now, not later. Otherwise you could get Lyme disease and end up having messianic hallucinations like on Joan of Arcadia.

Whee! I have no citrus dialectic.

I lovingly wash the fruit, then cut it in half, juicer it to completion, and then I stand back. I say, "O beloved goddess, bless the fruits of the trees, and thank you for your benevolence in letting me help them fulfill their fruitly destinies". Then I drink, looking kinda like Kay-Lee did with Book's gift of a strawberry. And there is harmony.

And while Joan's Lyme disease manifestations looked rough, I'd rather have that than to be Michelle Trachtenberg on "House", who comes close to death until House has a Miraculous Insight, and reaches in to extract the tick that has lodged in her girly netherbits.

Hee!

Ah yes, I do recall the MT bit on House. Not the best episode, but I didn't really care, cause PRETTY. :)

Hello! It's good to hear from you. I'm glad you went to the emergency room with the tick bite - those can have longlasting effects!

The juice sounds delicious. I will buy it once it's out on the market. ;) And I'm sure you would have paid about the same for the cuisinart no matter where you went.
