For some reason I keep thinking that's an animated movie...

Yep! It's rotoscoped, like their other one, Waking life. They film a movie and then trace over the footage, so it ends up as an animated film. The guy I talked to seemed pretty happy with the idea of giving me an internship, so i really hope they'll give me some sort of animation job, money or not.
