I just saw the 3-hour movie, "Dreamkeeper". I strongly - strongly - recommend it to anyone that loves a good story. It might be compared to Dances with Wolves on some levels, but in my opinion it blows it away ten times over. It did not drag at all, despite its length.

It continually boggles my mind how so-called scientists suppose that the discovery of fire was a fairly recent phenomenon, as if our ancestors were actual animals incapable of discerning. It's very difficult to believe that things like forest or prairie fires - very common occurances - wouldn't have been observed pretty damn early.

Explain to me why a supreme being - God - created us in his image to worship him - an egotistical act - yet made it innately wrong for us to be egotistical ourselves.

Maybe that sentence will make sense to me when I'm more alert (in about 18 hours), but then again maybe not... I'm hoping it does, as it sounds good so far.
