From the perspective of a mother who doesn't like most kids: if I were to bring my son into the workplace, it's probably because I had nowhere else to leave him without them charging me an arm and a leg to do so. Also: it would likely be stressing me out as much as it would anyone else.

I don't love children, but I will tolerate those who belong to friends and family - even come to love them - despite their existence as demon spawn.

I'll also point out that women are devious, and although they might be saying, "Isn't he precious?" they might well be thinking, "So precious I may drown him in the ladies' room."
