My year so far has included three student loan refunds to live on that were about $6000 all together. And oh, I earned about $4500 this year, because, as we all know, I'm not getting paid for going to le cafe.

So considering that more than half of what will be considered income for me will be charged back to me with interest, I've made about $3000 this year.

If I can't go on Welfare - and, no, they won't let me even get food stamps because I'm a full-time student - then you can't either. Suck an egg.

Do you have lots of debt or are you paying lots of alimony or something? I can't imagine making that much and having such difficulty supporting yourself. I suppose that's what's wrong with america these days though.

I have some debt, not an extraordinary amount though. No alimony. I think you believe the poverty line is actually much higher than it really is. The goverment set it at 10,400 dollars if your single something like 25 years ago, and it has never changed. Can you imagine living off 10,400 dollars a year? I can't. Like I said, I can't live on 3 times that.
