When I drink coffee drinks, I usually drink lattes or some other espresso variation. However I am also Presbyterian which means that no meeting, no social event is complete without Folgers sit-in-a-pot-for-hours coffee. i dunno about the creamer, but an arabian tradition is to read fortunes in the grounds left by the thick coffee we drink (what you would call turkish coffee)

I've never tried it, but I imagine it would work. It sounds very similar to doing smoke readings after snuffing a candle.

I have not tried it either, but I did finish my first decoupage box project today. The box now contains a deck of Celtic Wisdom tarot cards.

It is strange that you mention this unusual coffee ritual. I used to do the same thing when I was younger.

However, now I usually begin by putting my milk in first. This too creates an entrancing blend. The lines that the coffee creates is no longer as definative. It is very different, but no less fascinating.

While I think there is something for elegant in watching the cream swirl into the coffee, there is something hypnotic about the coffee melding into the cream.

And coffee is clearly my choice of drug if I can wax poetic with you on the subject.
