I may have been exaggerating slightly about their being too obscure for YouTube, though the recordings there are rubbish. Unfortunately, the group is shiny and new enough not have a website, only a facebook link, which doesn't want to work in the pseudo-Friends page over there the way it should. I googled for the gig, but found it was $120 for the Laneway Festival on a rainy evening. Next time maybe. Surely they'll play the Wheatsheaf or Grace Emily eventually.

. . . well (bloody Facebook, once again) they're apparently doing the Tuxedo Cat opening this evening. Which as at the old jazz club on North Terrace this year. At least the entry fee isn't insane . . .
