Crossing fingers
FINALLY called a contractor about getting a carport installed. Final straw: the windshield icing over for a second time as I drove to work.
Found the company name on BBB site. He's been in business since 1982 and in the course of a short conversation, inquired if I had already gotten the permit. Huh? So, now I need to call City Hall.

Kitchen Shelving!
Moving the dryer out of the kitchen left an open wall in a house that's short on storage space. I couldn't find a shelf unit of the appropriate size and shape (48" x 11"), so I got six shelves and brackets instead.

Once again, I'm an orphan for this most fabulous holiday. I work tomorrow, the Fae is with her dad, Ryk's family decided on Ryan's for Thanksgiving, and I had an important art project to wrap up.

Maybe it's just me...
...but when I look at Robert Pattison and Taylor Lautner, I think, "Gadoogally they oogally!"
Am I just getting old? Or does one of these guys have beady little eyes and a pug nose with sticky-outy ears, and the other one a goofy face, with eyebrows the size of kangaroos and a mouth the size of an earwig?

After more than a year of classes...
...Ryk and I went to our first real round dance last night. We were the youngest people there, by probably a 15 year margin (maybe only 10).
