How do you get a guy to ask you out?

So lately there's been a lot of talk in my church meetings about encouraging guys to ask the girls out. For a YSA ward there's a severe lack of dating going on. Statistically (according to one talk given), guys aren't asking girls out now until they're about 27, by which point most girls have given up on guys and moved on in life

You may just have to ask him out yourself. :)

I am thinking about it, but at the moment that's more guts than I've got. I'll have to work myself up to that point. :P

Well, you should at least ask him to hang out with you (and other people maybe) and do fun stuff so he gets to know you better.
