Days like this make me wish I had an oven to run - LOL. Still, waiting for mine and it's still looking like early December. *sigh*

We escaped the nasty weather, but it's cold and damp and generally uncomfortable. I've pulled my winter coat out of the closet and have switched over to it. I refuse to be any colder than necessary. I have 2 different weights in winter coats and I've already been using the lighter-weight one that I wear when the temps fall around 30F-45F. I sincerely hope I don't have to get out the down-filled one any time soon, and certainly do NOT want to mess with snow boots just yet (that likely won't be an issue here until December at the earliest and more likely January).

Although we don't usually get pounded with a lot of snow early, I will always remember the Halloween Blizzard of the 80's where we got almost three feet over Halloween weekend. Things can happen, although we're probably safe from that this year.
