if it's public everyone will see it, even your friends. if it is friends only, then it is a pointless post. it is public though, so your friends can see it, but people who aren't your friends can see it too.

Thanks, but what I mean is when I go to people's pages and it says "friends only" and then they add me, I can't see their Friends Only thing anymore, I can see their posts. But you can see my friends only post. I'm so confused. This is the only thing that confuses me about lj.
