Gilligan's Island

This weekend the Fairfield crew packed our bags for Moreton Island, a sand island off the coast of Brisbane, for a science field trip. Eleven FU kids are in an Environmental Studies class, and for their final assessment they had to write a report about the island. ohhh the britishness. picnic bars ARE quality.

katie darling i just emailed you. and then i read your comment on my easyjournal. and yes, you will want to murder yourself two days out of every week. but that's okay!! its in the pursuit of dorky literary BLISS!!! i personally am taking 3 english classes next semester out of the 4... "girls books" (we're talking harriet the spy, blubber, secret garden, SWEETNESS.); "how films think" (godfatherness, mulholland drive, citizen kane, kill bill, etc); and "twice told tales" (the only actually REAL english class, i think, with things like jane eyre and wide sargasso sea)

and you and i... we're big dorks. i embrace it. :-D
