I totally hear you on the job thing. I'm considered overqualified for the one thing I have experience in and underqualified for everything else. Right now I'm working a job I started in high school just to make ends meet for a few months before I have to start looking in earnest because our hours will get cut way down in September and stop entirely in January. It's incredibly frustrating, I know. *hugs*

What if you DO? You'll find something else and leave it. Call it growth use it to pad your resume, and move on!

Also worth noting that 99.9 percent of everyone hates their position. The ones who say they don't are lying or in that teeny .1 percent.

The number of people who "develop as a person in an occupation" is way, way smaller than you think. In America we put far too much emphasis on current job = measure of success in life. Success can come from so many other areas. It takes time to break out of that mindset, but once you do, it is so liberating. Which isn't any consolation when you're stuck in a shitty job, but it does give hope for the future. ♥
