I'm going to truly  start using this thing again. I like it better than facebook and I need some sort of computer related activity to fill my half hour lunch break. True, I could do something useful, like read or go for a walk but  I'm just too lazy at work ( Read more... )

Being happy with your body is a tough thing. I finally got there at about age 25, but I can't quite remember how. I do remember one thing, though: daily, in front of your mirror, naked, tell yourself you are beautiful. One day you will believe it. Remember that its more about appreciating what you like and growing indifferent to what you don't. I will never think every part of me is great, but I look at myself and think, hey, I am woman. I am natural. This is beauty as God intended, not as the media portrays. (I also vastly avoid fashion magazines!)

Craigslist. It didn't happen. I needed to send them a portfolio of my latte art but the person who had all my pictures on their camera didn't send them to me in time.

haven't thought about my physical appearance months, distract yourself somehow, i don't know the secret, ignore yourself, live outside yourself

I find getting involved with helping others (volunteering, etc) does help...not thinking about myself as much helps me not worry about myself as much =P
