Glad to hear you're alright, as am I and those close to me. I was right by there, though! Scary shit, I felt the rumble as I was driving to pick up a friend- who works right next to the bridge, about 100 feet away from it, so I saw everything. It's bad...

Good to hear you're ok. What a mess huh? I can remember having gone over that bridge several times, and thank God it wasn't winter or things could have been much worse.

It is really scary. I was thinking about going to my dad's last night after work and I would have cut through downtown to the Washington Ave Exit and just taken 35 up to University which is pretty much the exact span of the highway that collapsed, but my brain told me, "you've had a long day, just go home."
