I was so convinced that my best friend was going to start dating my ex after we broke up that I would spy on her via the voicemail on her pager(this tells you how long ago this was since practically no one has a pager anymore). I knew her access code and would call and listen to all of her messages. Whenever she would change the code I would always crack it. They never actually dated but they did hang out a lot and it really hurt my feelings to hear him refer to me as "the wicked witch of the planet" on a message he left for her.
