Strange days

It's already started out as a strange week.  One of our patients tried to make our clinic a drive through a few minutes ago.  If we hadn't had barriers in front of the doors, we'd have had a much larger door.

Gotta love it!

Pitiful driving and old age and dementia all mixed together.

The patient/driver was taken to the hospital and is going to be kept overnight. She's a little banged up and they want to see if she had a mini-stroke or not.

If today is any indication, I'll gratefully take that Baileys straight. Whew!

So what caused it? Full moon? Free samples from the local 'weed whackers'? A double-espresso from 'bucks on an empty? Mating wood pixies running amok? Somebody hired the clinic to use as a zombie-film set and forgot to pass on the memo?

A mixture of opiate withdrawl, poor driving, dementia, poor eyesight, and possibly a seizure of some sort.

Although a Monday morning around here (especially a Monday morning after a NASCAR hell weekend) can look awfully similar to a zombie film set.
