Not your ordinary blanket fic.
The Why:
Caitriona is not feeling quite the same love she once had for Inuyasha and needs to get back in the Inuyasha Mood. Thus the idea of this contest was born.
The Rules:
1) Entries will be a single original oneshot (or poem if it rocks) posted to either LJ, AFF, MM, or FF. It must be yours and it must be written for this contest. You write it, you send me the link, and I'll post the link to the master list which is here.
2) Entries can be any rating, any genre, anything - but if it is something that I don't like (i.e. sess X kaede pron=ewww) don't expect to get the Caitriona's Choice prize. :) Word limit is only limited by the site you put it on.
3) Theme: You can write either a song fic (adult alternative artists preferred and I'll even give you some ideas if you're struggling) with a link to the song you used or a work not based on a song but having to do with something Wintery.
4) You can send me the links starting on December 1st and ending on January 3rd at midnight. A whole month! (and a little extra because I'm going to be out of town)
5) There will be two winners. One will be chosen by me. The other will be chosen by a poll which I will place on my live journal page during the first week of January.
6) I reserve the right to add another rule here. See, I even made space for it.
The Prizes:
1) First place based on "popular vote" will receive a piece of Inuyasha inspired jewelry decided upon by the winner and me shipped directly to your home. Want your own amethyst kotodama? Or perhaps Kagura's earings in jade or malachite? Shikon-no-tama? Bayakua's crane made of starched and sewn cloth? You imagination is basically the limit.
2) First place based on Caitriona's Choice will receive a piece of Inuyasha inspired jewelry AND an Inuyasha Plushie. Fabulous at half the price!
