On this Mothers Day I honor all the women who are raising their children with strong values, teaching girls to respect themselves and boys to always treat women and girls with respect. I agree in honoring women who have not borne children, but who mother those who need it. There are many children who have toxic relationships with their own parents, and a surrogate parent can heal wounds and gently teach those who are hurt and suffering.

Honor to them, too!

I agree as well. So far it looks like I'm more suited to the auntie, step-mom, and "adult friend you can ask the stuff you're too mortified to ask your parents" role myself.
