My accomplishments for the day are as follows:

Ran 3 miles at a faster pace than normal (I suck at running)

Got some general information figured out about UNT. FYI, large state schools are function VERY differently than small private schools. I learned just how much larger schools are centered around the do-it-yourself rather than not relying quite

yeah-- half of the battle of a big school is knowing where to go to get things done. That was what made my (last 3) years at A&M fun, is that I knew exactly how to get things accomplished. (yeah, i was there for... 5 and a half and a semester of co-op...) I had friends who got there and totally lost their mind trying to get things done, since there's not really a manual or anythign to tell people who to talk to when they need it...

Thanks. I think the initial transition will be a little difficult just because my undergrad basically had someone telling you what you needed to have done and when. For instance, we wrote out registration forms by hand and took them to the registrar and were registered at the counter. I guess when there's 1400 students the manual way is a lot faster. I'm pretty adabtable and am not afraid to ask questions when I'm legitimately confused, so hopefully everything will get figured out quickly.
