lie and tell them that you can't be impartial. Just try to make it sound believable.

of course, I can't lie. I did manage to sound like a blithering idiot, (not on purpose) yet still they picked me. Maybe they like blithering idiots? You made a brief appearance in my interview ( ... )

jesus, dude. Hope it won't last too long.

I am, technically, practising - although I don't go to court, I still render an attorney's informed decision about the documents I code.

HAHA - I can still bullshit with the best of them. The upshot? It doesn't LOOK like attorney work but it is.

Quite frankly, the little I know about jury selection? You're pretty close to perfect. Blithering means that you will be easy to persuade, quote unquote. Basically one side thinks they can sway you and the other doesn't think you're THAT prejudiced or bad for their case to waste one of their no explanation dismissals on.

Sorry I misrepresented you... I didn't mean to :) Plus, I still don't know why they wanted to know... I think they just wanted to make sure I didn't know anybody involved in the case or from those law firms but of course they didn't *say* that. Tricky, tricky (and not in a nice trickyfish or TrickC way :) )

I was actually surprised by the blithering... the whole thing just made me so nervous, like *I* did something wrong. yikes.
