I just got back from staying with my parents for a week. My grandma (my father's mother) passed away suddenly early Friday morning and it has been a very rough week. My grandpap is taking it very hard... I have spent the day here at home watching the news coverage of the anniversary. It is sad, but I feel better watching it as if I can do my part by listening to the stories. These people are hurting, still, and there isn't much I can do for them except listen and remember.

I think I mentioned thinking about getting a new machine, but I don't think I mentioned I actually ordered one. I got it on Thursday and it is super cool. (Granted I probably shouldn't have spent the money, but... I am still happy-- and it came with a 200 dollar rebate and free shipping). Today has been very frustrating. First, my sister's boyfriend wants to submit his resume at her company. (Bad idea, but she won't listen) So he gives her a copy of it, but she can't open it. So hubby has this pair of pants that I absolutely hate... they are navy blue and they are made out of some material that acts like a magnet for cat fur (and since kitty's fur is orange you can *really* see it.)
