So, I'm in Chicago... And I've been here a week and it's different. I really like this city of Chicago, there is so much to do! But... no one to do it with. I start work on Monday and hopefully will make some friends quick. I say it's different b/c it's just a different life I guess. i know how you feel about a new place...and chicago's so huge! but i'm sure you'll find your niche. have you gone out and explored on your own a bunch?

Chicago IS so huge.. And yet I'm SO close to everything that I think I might need. I have explored a little bit.. But I'm scared to at the same time. But when I get scared I think about you and all of your adventures :)

well, i've got to say cork is not NEARLY as big as chicago.

but yes! you are my hero. getting lost in cities is fun. but don't use mcdonald's as landmarks...i find that they're everywhere.

Haha... It's funny that you say that.... Because I use the McDonalds as the landmark to get to and from the Opera House hahahahaha :)
