You have a fair understanding of my situation already. As a drone, I was little more than a cog in an unimaginably large machine, yet linked to the hive mind, I embodied the might of the Borg Collective. I was simultaneously the oppressor and the oppressed.

Since then, I have been treated as an equal by our crew -- albeit, within a rigid command structure. When I am judged harshly, it is generally by outsiders. We are alike in having no choice but to confront our critics. I wish I could say that my implants were not often recognized, but the technology is distinctive.
