Red Dress Run

The Red Dress Run is a national fund-raising event for women's heart disease research and prevention. Over the last several years the red dress has become a symbol, much like the red ribbon. As always, great photos!

Oh. Had no idea. Now it makes sense why there was a $70 entry fee. Glad the money is going toward some good.

As Joseph said, the photos - both composition & sequence - are wonderful. Thank you for sharing the day with us.

This is probably a long shot, but do you know - or know someone who knows - anyone at the Metarie office of URS (big engineering/architecture/planning consulting firm)? I'm thinking of applying for a gig there; it's right up my alley. Details below.

I was reading this in my journal, and each photo falls beneath the one before, I got the group shot near the end and said, "Damn, is that boy packing or what" and then, lo and behold, there was the last shot - why did I doubt that you would let that pass!
Sounds like a great weekend and, as always, lots of great shots. Now if I could only figure out how to turn my camera on...

And that was from across the street! It was nice from afar, I can imagine what it'd be like a little "closer". ;)

I'm sure you don't have issues with not being able to "turn things on".... :)

That's a "huge" (so to speak) turn on for me too! I wanted to just run over and see for myself what was under there, but I had a feeling (down there) he was straight.
