One of the things that is incredibly good at is reading other people. You could say that he gets paid to judge them for a living. So what characteristics do you think would immediately stand out about your character to D? Just comment with character name/journal/traits ( Read more... )

Taro Namatame/failsavior - HAS ISSUES OKAY. He's kind of depressed, a little lost. Still trying to figure himself out.

Naomi Kimishima/deadshallspeak - Very focused and driven, not too big on talking about personal issues.

I...just kind of went with a "first impression" kind of thing. Does that work?

taggingstains: He has very little emotion, is too honest, and can neither read nor understand other people.

Eiríkur/Iceland [cashnotash]: Has rotten social skills (socially awkward) and not good with emotions. He's also shy, but it's not obvious, thanks to the Nordic lineface, but D can probably guess that after the third time they met/stumble upon each other/speak through the communicator.

Dokuga poisonmoth Well, anyone can hardly read Dokuga in canon. He has horrible social skills, his face hardly shows any expression (apart from few changes that almost no one can tell - in canon, only his best friend did). He doesn't laugh nor scream. He does have natural responses to what happens suddenly, but if it's something he was expecting, his face will pretty much keep its blank expression. he avoids direct contact with other people as well.

Mello brokenaint Mello never uses VIDEO and he avoids meeting people face to face. So it's hard to ever read his expression like that. BUT if they ever do meet, he is REALLY easy to read when it comes to his emotions. His face doesn't hide it. It'll however be difficult to know if he is angry or frustrated or sad because all those expressions are the same. And a happy face usually involves a creepy smirk, so yeah |:
It's easy to see he has awful mood swings.

I figured this might be of use.

Katsura makes a big show of being a moron who confuses things, but that's only applicable sometimes. I believe Count D should be able to observe that there's a certain method to his random comments and that he's a lot more intelligent and observant that would be immediately obvious.
