Ok, so my mom just told me that I needed to get a shot that helps prevent STD's and cervial cancer...but she defintely left out the cervial cancer part and just said that it helps prevent STD's. So my reply to that was "yes mother, becasue I'm sleeping around with so many people" ha ha, and all she could do was smile at me....ha ha...I laughed ( Read more... )

ummmm S!

that shot, i believe, is to prevent you from catching VD which is one of the only STDs if not THE STD that cannot be prevented by wearing a condom. i read about it somewhere... in a book. haha

anyway, it's a good idea to get that.... except, i don't do shots. lately studies have shown that it leads to cervical cancer, and so basically if we gave all teens the shot before they started having sex then we could possibly wipe out VD and a lot of cases of cervical cancer.... but the conservative sector thinks that giving teens the shot will give teens ideas about sex. so instead of just giving them the shot, they discourage it because promuscuity is the devil.

ha ha thanks for the mini health lesson. I've read a lot on it...but the chances of me getting it anytime soon, is very slim....I hate the doctor...ha ha...funny things.

thats cool, I beleive I will be seeing you on friday...btu I do need directions...because OSU is not my campus...ha ha....we'll see, I have to run that by my parents...

is that the hpv shot? i think it's a good idea

they were handing out these free packets on campus that had trial shampoo, gum, medicine in them. and a condom. i was like...uhhh. i don't think i need this, but thanks for thinking about me haha

ha ha...I believe that it is...my school gave out condoms last year on valentines days...someone else wanted it....ha ha...the free gum and shampoo must have been amazing though...ha ha
