Good to 'see' you! Funny, I've been spending more time on LJ lately due to my dislike of FB (why on earth does everybody seem to love it so?!?) and have seen a few other folks meandering back here as well.

I'm one of those who posts quotes and things from time to time on FB. The reasons why though are simple. I do not care to post the inane everyday bullshit that most seem to be content to post, but the thing with FB is that everyone is on there. I am not going to post anything of personal substance to my sister, the kindergarten teacher, half the people I've ever met in recovery, and 30 ex-coworkers. So...I quote Emerson or whatever.

And we eat cottage cheese in our house from time to time, though I remember my mom always had it in the fridge. I should check next time I'm visiting as I suspect she still does.
