hah. I left out the bit where cookieman got obsessed with the T-shirt slogans we saw on land, and taunted me (well, I don't think he meant to taunt, exactly, but that was the effect) by randomly declaring "you better BELIZE it!" to which the only logical response from me was "SHUT. UP." It didn't work, though, because it always made me smile as I said it...
seriously, I was pretty damn annoyed at that point, and if I weren't already a bit intimidated by the situation, I might have been inclined to respond to the kids. But, the streets of the city, like most gateway shitholes, were lined with scraggly-looking men with nothing better to do than prop themselves up on the sides of buildings and leer at people, so I didn't really want to interact with any of them, much less start a fight.
I do feel better after having a workout. That having been said, I haven't actually gone to the gym since we've been back. :/ This was originally due to jet lag, but now it's just laziness. Ideally I'll get back into it tomorrow. heh.

(I picture 'finger-guns', and maybe a raised eyebrow, in conjunction with "You better Belize it.")
