exam approaching!

I've got my final exam tomorrow for my Business course. I've been revising for it for quite a while; by now I'm just going in circles and driving myself a bit nuts with it. Good luck with it - I'm sure you'll be fine. I avoid exams - specifically take papers that are 3-4 assessed assignments during the course, and no exam at the end. I get nervous enough waiting for assignment marks - I just couldn't cope with an exam!

If the fail stats are that high, it's a shitty test.

The point of testing isn't to fail people; it's to distinguish betwen students for reporting purposes. It can also be used for dignostic purposes... But failing half the class? Not the fucking point!

(speaking as a teacher with two M.Eds...)

Good luck! Make sure you're familiar with the course outline... A good test should clearly reflect the course outcomes/aims. Answering questions from past papers is probably the best practice you can get for an exam
