We've been a bit busy lately. The dude was running a fever for 5 days or so, and on his second visit to the doctor (where he had an ear infection which he didn't have the first time) he scored some antibiotics. He's doing much better now, happily, and was able to go to his Thursday baby playgroup. There was a visit by Santa, which he didn't take

A friend in one of the baby groups made a great suggestion for his first Christmas. She said to take a large box, fill it with balloons, and wrap it. I've already bought the balloons. :D (she's just had her third now, so I imagine she's had some experience with this...) He's going to have a few toys and/or books, but honestly, they're all things I'd bought a while back that I haven't given him yet and am just going to wrap up because it feels like we need a few gifts there.

It felt like his fever went on for ages. :( They look so sad, too, don't they? He kept crashing onto the carpet in this "I just can't go on anymore" fashion. I'm so glad he's feeling better...
