I've just put the dude to bed. He's dressed in the most adorable onesie, dark blue with horizontal white stripes. He looks like he's recently escaped from baby prison, convicted of extreme cuteness.
Poor little dude, and poor traumatized parents as well! What a scary thing to have happen. I'll keep my fingers crossed that it heals up in a jiffy. How cute that he was all charming with the nurse.
Are the hollow eggs meant to be filled with something, or are they just hollow in the same way the bunnies are over here? I don't think I've ever seen large hollow chocolate eggs here. Do they do filled eggs as well? I missed out on the good See's ones this year- too late, and all that was left were the crappy rocky road flavor.
Hope your weather isn't crappy- our forecast doesn't sound too great, either.
I'm intrigued as to what sort of eggs you have in the US, if not hollow ones! We have large hollow eggs and hollow bunnies - and also the Easter bilby, though he's less common...
Your little dude sounds pretty damned easy going! Sorry to hear about his tongue. (I bit into mine heavily when I was 7 or so... There was blood, but no long term damage.)
Aww! Poor little guy sounds ever so brave. That's really cute actually, about him trying to investigate the damage with his hands. Damage inside the mouth tends to heal quickly without infections or anything, I hope it does for the dude.

Yes, I'm intrigued as to what sort of eggs they have in the US, if not hollow? Perhaps they're tiny, like the Cadbury Creme eggs.
Easter Bilbies are popular here in Adelaide - made by the best chocolate company in Australia: Haigh's!

Best to stick to savoury type foods until it's better. I'd suggest putting Vegemite on it, if you lived here. LOL
