Got home yesterday from a 3-day trip to Big Bear. With the recent storms, they got some 7 ft of snow, so it was a great time to head up there. We got a tiny little cabin that turned out to be a perfect location, as it was literally across the street from a great hill for sledding with the kids.

I thought I hated the snow. It's cold and wet. Either

Sounds like you had a blast :) I love winter, but being Canadian (and not living in Vancouver), I was raised in the snow :P I'd say that going out in sweats, jeans, doubled-up socks, and tennis shoes would make me hate winter as well. Snowpants & waterproof boots, ftw!
