were you planning to recruit me into your husband's harem-in-the-making? well crap, I ruined that... though I suppose it would have come out eventually that I'm not a virgin *points to blossoming baby bump* which would have ruined my chances anyway :p

Huh. I would assume the ads were targeted at your readership. Which from what little I have seen is still O_o...

most of my fl is made up of Anglicans, Jews, Mormons and non-denominational Christians. I have an agnostic or two, and a couple wiccans, I think, but I don't think I have a single Muslim on my fl!

I thought you were a non-denominational Christian. How are you close to being Jewish?

I guess because of the intense division between the two, I tend to equate them as polar opposites of one another. Since the foundations of the Christian faith originated from the Judaism, I consider myself closely tied with the religion. I obviously recognize the differences, in that we believe that the coming of Christ and subsequent dead and resurrection has freed us from having to live under the Law. But I feel deeply connected to the Jewish faith, which is why our childrens' names are of Hebrew origin and all taken directly from the Old Testament.

Interesting to read! The children of Israel were simply members of Christ's Church before his mortal birth, so of course there are close ties. I don't understand people who don't see that!
