So I haven't posted in forever and I'm not going to do the whole "what I've been doing for the past six months" post now... I just wanted to post that my sister and Erick are finally going to get married in October (eeks!) and I am the TOTAL hero of the day because I got her dress!!! She had tried on a Galina dress at David's Bridal when we were ( Read more... )

WOW. The back of that dress is AMAZING. Sarah is going to look so fucking good. :) And you ROCK for getting it for $100!!!!! Man, that's like a miracle. What amazing karma that they had ONE left and it was in her size! I guess that's the good thing about being a small size...more of a chance that your size will be there.

Damn, that dress is awesome for such a low price. I guess the lesson there is look for discontinued styles that you like and then keep an eye on them...they probably always go down in price! Good job, Emmy, you save the day!

What weekend in October are they shooting for? Hopefully it doesn't conflict with Susan's wedding...I think they're aiming for Columbus Day weekend? I don't even know when that is. Ahhh, the weekend of October 12th. It'd be awesome if you could go to both. If you're not at Susan's I'll be saaaaaad, but I'll understand. Gotta be there for the sister. :)

I know! Yay, dress!! I'm so psyched.

Sarah is getting married on Saturday, Oct. 10, so it may conflict with Susan's wedding :( :( :(
I really hope that either Susan and Rob pick a different weekend or get married on Sunday afternoon or something so I can go to both ;) I'll be so bummed if I can't make it. But obviously they have to do what works best for them in terms of scheduling. I'll definitely make it for the bachelorette party!!

Where is Sarah having her ceremony, in Albany or up in Port Henry? I hope the timing works out, but if not, hopefully you can be involved in any parties or whatnot leading up to it.

She's getting married up near Port Henry, which is about 2.5 hours away from Albany -- but I talked to Suz today and she's aiming for Sunday afternoon, so I *think* I'll be able to do both. Fingers crossed!
