I forgot to post this! I have a dress for my sister's wedding (number 81505).

I have it in clover. It is SO pretty, and it was only $40! Seriously, the tale of the Lyman sisters and the cheap-o dresses is getting better and better.

That's so pretty!! Did you just buy it online without trying it on? I'm sure it looks amazing on you either way, but awesome if you were able to buy it without even trying it on. I like the color too with your hair. And the bow...I usually HATE bows (don't we all) but that one is really cool.

Screw you though and your cheap dresses!! I can NEVER find clothes that look that good for that cheap!

Yah, I just bought it without trying it on, figuring that if it didn't fit, it was just $40 and I could probably get store credit or sell it on eBay or whatever. It was a gamble - they only had a size smaller than what I usually wear at DB - but it actually fits (snugly, but still!)! I just have to lay off the brownies until October (oops, I had a brownie at work today, in a moment of desperation. Okay, starting tomorrow, I lay off the brownies...)

I need to get it hemmed, and maybe get cups sewn in. Why do they think that everyone who participates in a wedding is 8 feet tall?!

Hahaha! I think they just figure they'll make it long b/c everyone's gonna have to hem it anyway. So why not include extra so the Amazons among us can actually find dresses that don't end at their calves.

But that's AWESOME that it fits so perfectly! Can't wait to see pics of you in it. Too bad you couldn't wear it to Susan's wedding too. Or could you?!

Probably not to Susan's wedding - I got the impression that it would be a bit less formal that that dress is, plus I'll probably have spilled beer all over it in a drunken stupor at my sister's wedding the night before, with no time for drycleaning. Oy, I'll need to find something else to wear! Good thing they're both a ways off...
