[then, a voice, scratchy and hoarse]

Good morning, DramaDramaDuck.

Ah. I'm sorry, that's not correct. Minus ten points. I believe the appropriate response to that would have been "Good Morning, Charlie". Nevertheless, let's talk business. For all the sentiment that some control must be instated, I'm dissapointed in the overall lack of ( Read more... )

ic, justice, planning, recording live!

I think it's an excellent idea that there should be some sort of law enforcement between worlds. About damn time, too.

We have Light Yagami to thank for the idea. However, since the plan has seen little progress...I felt it necessary to revive it.

For every blow dealt to justice, there must be consequences.

Oh yeah, he's some sort of detective, right?

You know, I have certain connections with Spider-Man. If you ever needed his assistance for special cases, I could act as a liaison for you.

Division Chief of the NPA, I believe, if he has assumed his late father's title.

Ah....of course. Thank you, Mr. Parker, that may be very helpful down the line.

You know... you've kind of given me an idea.

I played Robocop here for a while (robo_ocp); he was hard to deal with because it would be IC for him to just want to apprehend anyone he saw doing wrong, as it would be in his programming to do so. But I thought about making him an NPC or sporadic character of sorts to be a sort of community law enforcement. Just get in touch with him when something needs doing, give him a ride and let him loose. Is that something you're looking for?

That sounds like a good plan! It'd be a smooth way to make arrests happen (er, with player consent, of course. and there'd definitely have to be a limit on jailing, because it's a highly restricting condition for the characters involved.). I don't know the canon, but I'd be okay with that plan! And since the prison needs staffing, well, really, how much he is or isn't involved is just up to you! Or, if he's a NPC, the mods, I guess?

I just figured you'd need someone who could actually track down and arrest some of the more violent comm members... and Robocop is a fuckin' tank. You can blow his legs off and he'd still crawl after you. So it's an idea.

Erm, well canonically his methods of "subduing" criminals were to... uh, shoot or beat the crap out of them. He wasn't built for diplomacy. In the later movies/series, he's actually decommissioned and goes on the run because they want to destroy him. Maybe he can seek refuge on someone else's world and find use in being a comm officer of sorts?

Well what I mean is, if you used him, you could just say "Robocop is after yo' ass" and we can figure out what would happen OOCly. I'd also be up for RLing fights with him. Just that he wouldn't be a regular poster, someone you could use for a while and then put away until you need him again.

Mm! Figured that's what you meant! I'm A-okay with it, and if the mods and other muns are, too, I'd say we're set.

It's such an awesome idea~. S-so excited!

I whole-heartedly second Jordan! Can't say much about the other three, but I'm sure they're fine too.

This is actually a pretty good idea, I'm impressed. I'm all for interworld relations.

Duly noted. If there are any others you wish to nominate, this is your opportunity to do so.

It was Light Yagami's brainchild; the credit is his alone. I am merely following through on it as an agent of justice.

Uh... I can't think of any, off the top of my head, but if you ever needed any help, I'd be more than happy to oblige. Well, you know, within reason.

Still, it's one thing to think of an idea, another entirely to follow it through.

It is not my job to be the community's keeper. If the members of the community want justice and security so badly, they must be prepared to take on the responsibility of arranging for it.

I am just a baker, after all.

I also second Jordan.

Are you alright?

I will make a note of it. Any other nominations, or do you have any suggestions?

I am fine.

No one else really springs to mind.

We'll need to get Namine on board for this, though, since she's the founder. Once we get the guidelines drawn up she can make sure they're put someplace prominent.
