politeness + five things
i have noticed that a lot more people are saying "thank you" to the bus driver as they exit the bus, even from the back doors. it's nice to see.
five things you might not have known about me, in no particular order:
1. i knit. obsessively.
2. i enjoy watching people sleep on the bus and doing the head-bob dance. sometimes i worry that they have missed their stop and think about waking them up, but they usually work things out for themselves.
3. i am afraid of mimes.
4. public singing makes me uncomfortable. this includes singing happy birthday, christmas carollers, and watching people do karaoke really well. however, karaoke done poorly or in jest is no problem for me.
5. one of my favourite things is to turn off the lights, lie on the floor, and listen to REALLY LOUD MUSIC. i haven't done it since i lived alone (which was what, three years ago?) but it's really fun. you should try it sometime.
