Maybe it's an onwnership thing... Like girls feel that by calling them by their full name gives them a sense of ownership. Like "He's Mine, and Everyone Knows it". They call them by their full name because like your parents they have some kind of ruling or ownership over them that no one else has. It makes them feel "Special" to call them by their full name, no one else does. Sort of like a nickname.
