I was listening to MPR this morning, and they were talking about the video threat against U.S. and Canadian malls by al-Shabaab. Kiva loaners
For those who use Kiva: Do you struggle with--given similar loan situations--whether to fund one that is almost fully funded, one that has meager funding but awhile yet to run, one that is almost funded but the time is almost over, etc.? App advice?
Does anyone have a suggestion for an app for my Samsung Galaxy 5 that would be good for keeping reviews of foods/beverages I try, like coffees, ice creams, etc? I seem to have no fu whatsoever for finding apps that do things I want. Free would be nice, but if I am pretty sure it is what I want, I will pay for it. -

Jonathan fell last evening, at a friend's house, and broke his hip. He will have surgery today; I have to call this morning to find out the time. At the moment, that's all I know. -
Throwback Thursday
These are the railroad tracks that ran by our house in Garden Grove, California, where we lived 1955-64. When I was taking Patrick to work the other day, we heard a train whistle, a ways off.
