I'm not a forgiving man. Mercy, for all of its moral value, gets you killed. It's a luxury, or at times a practical tool. Opportunities to exercise it can be rare. When each day threatens the death of those close to you, you soon learn to recognize when forgiveness is a waste of your time

It doesn't fly by me. Let us rename it. Shall we call it 'forgetfulness' or shall we call it 'laziness.' A grudge takes up too much energy that could be spent elsewhere.
