Programming-related fury.

C++ is so good at being simultaneously wonderful and terrible. Rarely is the terrible aspect due to being too restrictive, or due to some silly omission, but sometimes this is the case.

I adore pointers to data members. They're very useful for some kinds of generic programming. I won't try to explain why they're useful, just show their use.

In every scheme I've been able to come up with, being slightly accustomed to C++'s crapduggery, the result is the same. C doesn't have pointers to members, it doesn't even have offsetof before ANSI C :)
