A third of homes in the UK have broadband speeds well below the national average, according to research from price comparison site uSwitch.
While half of addresses get broadband speeds of 6.7Mbps or above, a third struggle to get speeds above 5Mbps, 1.7m speed tests found.

Mechanics and algebra, otoh, makes the world go round and I loved them.
Seriously, though, at 10 years old you can figure out that half the numbers are going to be below the average and half above. I just wish that the BBC Radio 4 stats programme was on the air at the minute. *sigh* They'd have fun with that one.
