Project Runway Episode 2

Project Runway Review in a Short Few!

(I wrote this in 5 minutes and during the show, I have no filter and it was rushed oh well.)

Episode 2:

Valerie: “I mean who gets a billboard? Not unless youʻre a Calvin Klein model or…U2.”

Troisi: “Iʻm a straight guy in a gay manʻs world, don't be so hard on me. Iʻm trying.”

What the hell was Troisi talking about “INFINITY”? This is a piece that is to represent MARIE CLAIRE! Oh boy, I sense disaster.

Another big question: why does Gretchen continue to help Casanova in the work room? Sheʻs got her own design to worry about.

I love you Mondo for keeping the focus, even though youʻre quirky. I felt his heartfelt need to share his feelings with someone, it can be depressing sometimes to handle all of that by yourself. But I really enjoyed his outfit for this Marie Claire challenge and I absolutely LOVED his photo. The silhouette of his model was gorgeous and just the movement compared to some of the other photos.

Good lord, Gretchenʻs outfit was horrid to me. I would NOT want to wear something like that. Itʻs almost like a onesie outfit for women. Bleh. (At least the model on the billboard worked it better with far superior accessories.)

I loved Michaelʻs comment at the end, “Iʻm so proud of you Gretchen, OMG” -in a nasally voice, then suddenly serious “But I thought Valerie should have won.”

Me too, Michael, me too.
