Yes, I am alive. Yes, Chapter 3 of Faustian Hopscotch is being written. Sorry about the stupidly massive wait and for those who forgive me, thank you for your patience. It will still be a while. I'm job hunting... again

yes, i'm very patiently waiting for the third chapter of faustian hopscotch... *shifty eyes*
3) totally agree. except it's a bit different for me, since i can't help but love spn anyways, even when it makes me cringe. i try to think of it as my adorable little sister going through puberty... it gets better?
I'm glad you're still writing, and I can't blame you for breaking up with the show. I actually stopped watching before the winter hiatus last season - I couldn't take the unrelenting angst, insipid and inconsistent characterization, retconning that changed not only what had happened in previous seasons, but what had happened the previous episode, and total lack of a coherent story. I felt things fell apart mid-S5, but I hung in there because of nostalgia and love for the show. But that just ain't enough, especially when it's obvious that there will be no improvement, that there seems to be no interest in improvement, because the belief is that nothing is wrong.
Whatever. In my head, the show ended in S5, Dean didn't get relegated to being beaten to a pulp as the fulfillment of the righteous man role, Sam didn't get back on the blood bandwagon and say "Yes" to daddy!issues!Lucifer, Adam never existed and a 25ish year old toy soldier combined with a sun-flare didn't save the day.
Supernatural and I are having a breakup. I can only love it up to the end of season 5. Gamble has broken my heart because the next two seasons are reading like bad fanfictions on top of trying to make seasons to top the end of the world.
I feel just the same. they really should have left it alone at the end of S5. now its just painful to watch (so i dont :()
