You are so strong. I don't know if I could handle that. My mother and I are really close and to see her degrade like that would kill me. You are a brave woman for admitting you were in over your head. You did what was best. When I tell my mom I love her today, I'll think of your sacrifice. If you ever need a kind unbiased ear, I'm here for you.

I am so sorry to hear that. You are an incredibly strong person and sometimes the hardest thing to admit is that you can't do everything alone. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your mom.

My thoughts are with you through this time. I understand how hard it can be to take care of your parent without the help and love of someone else. I know that making the decision to put her in a nursing home was not an easy one, but at least her care will not be just on you, anymore. That is a great amount of help right there. If you ever need to talk, I'm here for you *hugz*

Oh sweetie! I know EXACTLY what you are going through. My mother's parents...my grandfather passed away from Alzheimer's in 2007 and my grandmother currently has it now. You have done all you could and if she could tell you, I'm pretty sure your mother would be so proud of you at the love and care you have given her over the years. This is her way of telling you that now it's time to let go and let someone else take over. -hugs-
