It was around the time that the religious discussions went from educational to confrontational. I just think that you are comfortable in your path, and me in mine, and that maybe they're not meant to keep crossing.

We made it two years dancing along the line of formality, and you are a really nice woman and a good mother, and I respect you for that. But I started to get the feeling that you looked down on me for my beliefs, and that's just not okay. So I pulled back and let you live your life.
