I could watch Vastra and Jenny - and even MORE, Strax my favourite Sontaran - forever :)

And I just ADORE the Tardis's new look. That's one thing I haven't been happy with since the new series started, but this one works for me.

I wish they'd kept Clara Victorian - I would just like a change from the string of 21st century companions - but I think I'm goig to like her anyway.

The TARDIS looks like a proper spaceship! Not organic nonsense! ....which is fine, generally, but I like the TARDIS to look like it was built, not grown. Even if it was grown.

MOFFAT RETCONNED THE WEB OF FEAR. Probably not the most important thing about this ep, but it was the thing I spent MOST TIME EXPLAINING TO FAMILY. Yes, people, the 1967 Underground Map on that lunch box has just CHANGED THE STORY SLIGHTLY for four episodes that were broadcast about fifty years ago and don't exist anymore, LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT THAT IN LOTS OF DETAIL. Oh, how they admired my knowledge!
*has never seen The Web of Fear but would like to know more*

Also, love at The Snowmen/The Abominable Snowmen for being SORT OF LIKE THE MOST HALF-ASSED NOT ACTUALLY A PUN EVER. V V SAD, however, at the Doctor going all "hmm, Great Intelligence, that sounds familiar...?" as if he NO LONGER REMEMBERS the most awesome years of his life. FORSHAME.
Please, tell me more!

But, really, I am quite yarg we don't get this Clara. I loved her ambition, her intelligence, her determination to beat the class system and her ability to fit in so well as either middle or working class. And her Mary Poppins/Maria von Trapp schtick. I suppose if you were ( ... )

The Yeti (they look like Yeti, but are actually furry robots controlled by the Great Intelligence) invade the London Underground in 1968. Why? Well, why not, before, but now we know the Doctor gave them the idea with his '67 map of the Underground and so is responisble for both said invasion and engineering his first meeting with the Brig.

Please, tell me more!

The Great Intelligence is what Ian McKellen will end up calling himself when he uses furry robots to invade a suspiciously Welsh looking Tibet (The Abominable Snowmen) and the Underground (Web of Fear), both Troughton stories.

I BET THEY TALK ABOUT MARRIAGE PROBLEMS OVER BRANDY.

I'm sorry, but you've come up with this idea now and are therefore required by law to write fic of it. I'll just sit here and wait.
