I kind of overwhelmed by this, specially the last paragraph so I'll leave the comment for another time.

But I wanted to ask, you seem to understand about photography or at least you have a linking to it. I've been interested on it a lot lately, but not enough to be really objetive when watching a photo (but..who cares, photos and art isn't about objectiveness, it's about feelings :P)...

but what do you think of the photos Shige made?

I'm in a course in the morning and one of my classmates is a photographer I plan to ask his opinions about shige photos... but in the future when I have more relationship with him

I'm not really an expert because I've only been into photography for maybe a little over a year now-- I started with film and recently just bought my first digital SLR. To be really honest photography is such a common hobby that there really is no standard of what's a good or a bad picture

There is a lot here...and Shige writes such pretty things and I think his writing is really powerful...this all kind of overwhelmed me. I'll come back and write a better comment!!!

but thank you for translating!!! I really wanted to buy his pamphlet (because I love pictures of Shige and Shige's pictures!!!) but I guess this is the next best thing (that and scans..)
